Some neighbors of ours have a large light-up pig decoration with antlers. The girls named him oinkster and if we were ever out at night, they would request to go see oinkster. Well, they were very surprised to wake up on Christmas morning to see four mini-oinksters on their dressers by their trees. The oinksters later had to travel with us to West Virginia because Mabel would miss them too much.

We had many extended family celebrations on pre- and post-Christmas, but I seem to have been negligent in photodocumenting them, so here is our Christmas morning at home. I will save our big, homemade present for the girls for another post, but here was some of the fun.

| Ella's favorite present, a sunbonnet. She wore it all day and wanted to wear it to bed. It was made by Ashley's Attic, a great historic kids' costume shop on etsy. |
