For our second day of old-fashioned school, we made some vintage seed packets to use in our store. I pre-cut the photos from a Comstock, Ferre & Co. catalog. Comstock, Ferre is an heirloom seed store run by Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds.
The girls glued the squares onto index cards. Then we ran them through my "llama-nator" and cut them out.
Now we have some great seeds to sell in our store, both vegetables and flowers. And it's great for secret math practice when they have to count out the number of vegetable and flower seeds I order at the General Store.
